Frank Schaap

Frank Schaap

Frank Schaap is a folk/blues musician from New York City. He toured the USA for 15 years as a founding member of the Metropolitan Blues All-Stars. He then moved to New Orleans and worked with the Royal Street Rounders for 4 years as a busker. In 2000, Schaap wrote the Grammy nominated song "Deep Mine Blues" for Larry Cordle and Lonesome Standard Time. He is currently on tour with "The Lost Wandering Jazz and Blues Band" and Madeline Peyroux. Frank's CD sounds like a 1920's paramount recording except without the scratches.
