Little Lenny

Little Lenny

Little Lenny was a Jamaican dancehall artist from the early 1990's. Although he never made as big an impact as more popular contemporaries such as Ninjaman, Super Cat, Capleton and Buju Banton, Little Lenny scored the biggest (and one of the most controversial) reggae hits of 1989 with "Gun In A Baggy", a superb safe sex ditty that critics mistook for just another slack number rather than a graphic and prophetic commentary on a critical subject.
